“No Kings” protest chose the wrong day to rally, now they look like monsters.

June 14th, the chosen date of the “No Kings” protest, ironically sponsored by one of the multi-billionaire heiress of walmart, was a rally to “re-claim” Donald Trumps birthday. As evident in the movements title, the rally was to oppose Donald Trump from a 1776 perspective by painting him as a King .

However, despite the massive participation in this protest, it was a major fail. This is because this day wasn’t just the Presidents birthday, but the United States Army. President Trump, as promised during his campaigning, held a massive celebration for the Army’s 250th Birthday. The celebration took place in Washington DC that day and displayed an admirable display of our military might. Therefore, the protest held during this time gave off a “anti-army” sentiment, appearing as if attention was being redirected from the celebration of those who’ve nobly sacrificed in the service, to the protest.

In Addition to the negative lighting provided by the timing, two incidents occurred during the protests that repainted “No Kings” from a peaceful protest, to a gathering of irresponsible disorder. The first of which occurred in Salt Lake City that June 14th. Antifa militants, ironically short for “Anti-Fascists”, took it upon themselves to act as what they call “peacekeepers” and be armed with rifles besides the protesters in solidarity. Unfortunately, with tensions high and little gun training, these individuals were negligent with their self assigned roles. a couple of the Antifa “peacekeepers” did in fact not keep the peace, by open firing into the crowd of protesters because a unidentified man allegedly was seen with a gun. There is no evidence however that this man was violent with his carrying of his weapon, only verbal statement from the “peacekeepers” that the gun was brandished. Consequently, and innocent bystander was shot and killed, reaching headlines immediately, changing the narrative of the coverage of the protest.

Later, in Minnesota, Representative Melissa Hortman and her Husband Mark Hortman were murdered in their brooklyn park home by and individual with “No Kings” protest flyers all over his back seat

Minnesota State Patrol’s X post, June 14th, 2025, 17:16:02 UTC.

This photo released by the Minnesota State patrol caused much alarm amongst the media, turning the protest into a conspiracy. Some were arguing that this discovery was a plant, as these were not official flyers distributed by the organization leading the protest. Others were arguing that this was evident of a deeper violence underlining the movement, flags of enemy countries being flown during the protest did not aid this conclusion either.

To conclude, the few “Bad apples” of the “No Kings” campaign has permanently stained the impact the protest will have on American history.
